  1. i was really worried for high school too. maybe you could go with a few friends to the campus before school starts to try figure out where some of your classes are. join lots of clubs to find what your intrests are, dont worry high school is so much fun! ;)

  2. you are over thinking it just relax and be who you have always been

    join clubs

  3. dont let your grades slip just do your hw

  4. u will be worried about getting lost but what i did is i went around to all my class rooms just to see where they were and that helped me tons. just do that and you will be good i promise you will be fine. if you don't do that you will have it down in way less than 2 weeks!!!

  5. wellll imma be a junior!! woot!

ummm don't  get on the upper classmen's nerves, they WILL push you in the hall way (not to scare you though)

if someone asks yoy what grade areyou in?

don't be afraid to say freshman

and there will be alot of people who are scared and don't know ppl so just try talking to ppl to make friends..

  6. i know how you feel.i am gonna be a freshman in two weeks and i am SCARED!!! you can add me as a contact if you want to talk cuz i am in the sitituation :/

  7. First off... CALM DOWN! It's not like the worlds is about to go bye-bye.

Second, its just school. You go to learn, make friends, and survive till your down. Besides, I bet the way your feeling right now is probably the same way you felt when you started Elementary, and even Middle. And you survived those didn't you?

Next, your overwhelming yourself to think "OMG! High School! What's going to happen? Will I make friends? blah blah blah... (lolz)." Like I said, relax, because if you can't OF COURSE your gonna s***w up! If you try your hardest not to mess up, you'll mess up. Sometimes, you just gotta go with the flow, you get me?

Last but not least, the first day, you'll get a schedule right? So, just follow around some other kids in your class. Try at at least make ONE or more friends on the first day. Maybe he/she knows the school, so you'll get lucky. But if you can't find a friend who knows the area, you can't ever go wrong with asking a polite teacher or a Assisted Principal or something. Usually they have maps taped up or they have hand-outs or something.

Just gotta relax, and just imagine it as another school year. ;D

    Good Luck! =D

  8. It's really no big deal. The number one thing is to just be yourself. I know it's what everyone says but it's true. Don't try to look like a senior on your first day by changing your whole appearence. I think freshman are pretty neat =)

I'm a sophomore and it's really no big of a deal at my school. High school is super fun and im sure you will have a great time.

Try to join clubs or get involved with the school so that you can make tons of new friends. They will like you, freshman or not.

  9. YAY! I've wanted to answer a Freshman question.  Okay, so I just started High School yesterday and it is so not a big deal.  I probably asked 10 questions like yours on here but as it turns out, High School is way easier and better than Middle School.  Even though the teachers are more strict about work coming in late, you get a lot more freedom in class.  Like in my English Honors class we can eat food and listen to our I-Pods durring tests or when we're reading.  Also, since the school is so much bigger it is way less clicky.  Unlike what you see in the movies there are no mean cheerleaders who go around calling people geeks and dorks and have guys worshiping them.  Sure there are mean people but not nearly as many.   Our lunch has Freshmans, Sophmores, Juniors, and Seniors and everyone just sits with anyone, there's no clicks just friends and no one cares if you sit with the hottest guy in school or the school stoner, it's really cool.  As for finding your way around, it's simple.  We only have 4 classes a day although I know some schools have 5 but still... we have large campus, 2 large buildings with a lot of halls and 2 levels and corridors, and I can already find all of my classes.  Still, on the first day there will be people to help you out if you need it, and for the first week or so the teachers will allow you to be late.  After that you should know where your classes are, trust me it's not as hard as you think, like I said I go to a ig school the back building was the old middle school so that is a good sized building by itself with gyms and lunch rooms, and it's really simple.  If you do get lost there are always teachers around for the first 2 weeks (so I've been told) and they will help you out.

    Good Luck
