  1. i seriously think that they should match,

  2. Mike Woodson is a good coach, although he makes quite a lot of enemies. Larry Brown got into a fight with Stephon Marbury with the Knicks. He was fired from the Pistons for looking at career opportunities in Cleveland. I wouldn't consider either coach a "people" person, but Larry Brown has showed that he is a good coach. I think the Hawks didn't want to ruin the rhythm that the Hawks have created by taking their games against the Hawks to a game 7.

The Grizzlies were fools to offer Smith a four-year contract. They should have offered Smith a 1-2 year contract, and kept their cap for the free agent class of 2010. Maybe the Grizzlies wanted to hurriedly remove Smith out of the free agency, giving Smith only 7 more days of time in the free agency pool.

So will he be a Grizzly of Hawk? He will be a Hawk at the end of the day. Because they realize they're fools for sending Chilldress to Greece, they're definetely NOT leaving Smith. Al Horford is improving like crazy. Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby are still both shooting-machines. The Hawks will be okay next season. But not for the playoffs...!!! They aren't better than the Heat. They are not better than the Bulls. So I don't see any way the Hawks will make the playoffs next season.

  3. Atlanta has a big problem. They perennially lose.

It's so ingrained there that it starts at the top and is in all the players and fans.

You are prob one of the few faithful that is willing to say you are a fan.

Atlanta is Clipper East. They both must be good at ping pong by now because they have been in the lottery so often I can't even tell you the last time they weren't save for this year.

Larry Brown wouldn't have coached the Hawks. Realistically they are 3 years from the Finals if everything went exactly right for them. How old would he be? a 100? No there was no chance.

I think you have to start with a guy who has cred and knows what its like to win. Woodson isn't it. Without looking some names up.. Rambus with the Lakers jumps to mind.

Tough time in Atlanta right now. They need about 25K of people like you to buy some season tickets and go to the games.

  4. THEY MATCHED THE OFFER!!!

I was sooooo happy, they finally did something good for the franchise.

I really liked that they matched it really quick 2.

The bad thing now is that he is really mad at the Hawks right now, and with his bad attitude it might not be very good for the Hawks.

But I'm still soooo happy we signed him!!!!!!!

  5. Yeah I think they dont really have a choice, but I agree it was a big mistake to not go after Brown.

  6. Yea im 100 percent the Hawks are going to match the offer sheet.  He's a franchise player and very underrated.  Im sure Hawks will do all they can.
