So Mac's makeup isn't not so great?

Question

I went to the Mac counter for the first time ever and I have some sample eye shadows and I was kinda of reallyy really reall disappointed like hardcore I'm a Seophora Head and I'm going to stay a Sephora Head I like their Band way better I was going to buy a purple eye Shadow but end up going back to Sephora and getting Urban decay

So the question is do you feel the same way like Mac's not as it's all hyped up to be and I tried a Foundation Nope staying with my Sephora one as well

I personally love it. I haven't found any concealer that can top theirs. And their powder foundation stays on the entire day. I think it depends on your makeup style. MAC has crazy colors that are too rich for some people but not enough for others. The best is Chanel. Color never leaves your face and you don't use alot.

But because it costs an arm and left boob to purchase, I think MAC is a wonderful alternative.

It's not really the brand of makeup that one uses, what makes the difference is the skill of applying it.

I love MAC... but i love UD and MUFE just as much so it's pretty much all the same to me.

But some people rave about MAC ilke it's the best thing in the world but I've swatched MAC against Maybelline and people couldn't tell the difference

i also think that It's not really the brand of makeup that makes it difference... it's the skill of applying it.... i have seen lots of makeup artists using BYS or other cheap products and they manage to give amazing outcomes..... compared to those who afford MAC but can't possibly apply it on...

no offense really...

but i also believe that MAC has good pigments... but on the whole, lots of cheaper brands also offer the same quality....

i agree with you on this. i feel that mac has really good color choices, it is very modern and up to date and it's pretty much a one stop shop for good (not great) quality makeup.

People need to see that there are other brands out there, whether higher or lower end brands that work just as well but for a fraction of the price or altogether much better than mac! trying out different brands of makeup is alot of fun! and people who just shop at mac are not seeing how different other lines of makeup are.

i've tried the foundation too and staying power did not amaze me, it bot all blotchy towards the end of the day and i think it congested my skin a little too. i do like their lipsticks though
