As a matter of fact, he does know. Would you like to try openly giving a poor person in a poor country more money than anyone else has? Or how about getting that poor person to immigrate to the US when you are a political figure?

Obama knows full well who his relatives are, thanks to his Kenyan grandmother (why wouldn't he?). He just can't be too obvious in how he helps them (just like how he helps his grandmother).

he has 8 half siblings. He does not necessarily know all of them. He met this one one time. Since this one's own mother doesn't talk to him, I would suggest that there may be some problems with him and his past.

John and Cindy don't associate with or help out Cindy's 2 sisters. In fact, while Obama has always said that he has multiple half siblings, Cindy has repeatedly called herself an only child---a huge slap in the face to her 2 sisters.
