So Obama's tax against business won't effect the average american huh? Business is then going to go, "Dang! Obama got us! Shucks! Oh well!" Right? Certainly business wouldn't then RAISE PRICES WOULD THEY? No! Not at all! And certainly business that are now paying so much more in taxes won't lay off workers will they? No, I'm sure they won't! And businesses will then go out and hire more people, and give raises and better benifits huh? Because I'm sure that they won't cut benefits or put a freeze on hiring, or raises huh! After all, businesses aren't in business to make money are they?

  1. You are absolutely right and it's not just mega corporations that will be taxed, it will be on small businesses as well which will affect more middle class citizens than Obama supporters believe.

  2. He'res the thing I keep coming back too.  I'll preface this by saying that although I'm and Independant, I tend toward liberal ideas(I honestly have the job of my dreams and the best healthcare of anyone I know and I'm pro-socialized medicine)- just so you have a frame of reference.  Although I am pro death penalty and welfare reform (why the h**l you'd award laziness is beyond me).  For me, as far as economy goes, the greatest economic growth and only balanced budget this nation has had while I was alive was under Clinton.  Given the fact that I was alive for Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2  I am starting to believe that supply side economics is flawed on the basic level of humanity.  I'm from Michigan and have seen CEOs of AUTO makers keep their 100 million dollar golden parachutes by laying off 1000s of factory workers.  I have seen no evidence that trickle down trickles down.  Whereas people of lower economic status with more money in their hands are still going to spend it.

  3. The tax hikes won't affect the the average american since only 5-10% of the population actually make more than $250,000 a year.

as for the businesses raising prices and firing employees seem unlikely since businesses have many tax deductible items and salary being one of them.

plus higher taxes helps lower inflation so you won't see any higher living expenses and businesses will have higher real growth and less inflationary growth.

  4. His tax plan is deceitful, especially for those expecting to get something out of it.

  5. Well said Dave, I agree.

  6. no, of course you're right, if mega corporations are forced to pay their fair share then the whole economy will fall apart. exxon and adm and monsanto and walmart are going to go out of business if they are held to the same tax standards as working americans.

  7. Palin said it on national tv the way i been sayin it for months. Too bad the dems dont get it.
