okay i asked the people of yahoo to tell me if 13 was to young for a R.H.P.S party most of them said yeh i was too young and should wait! one person suggested rock star, that could be fun but most of my 'acquittance's' are well you know chavs!! i love that sort of thing but I'm not sure its there cup of tea, so shall i...

*or brace it out and tell the rest to come appropriately?

please tell me what you think, and give me ideas for the party in-hand.

I would invite all my mates. You can do a rock star theme combined with an "anything the guests may wish to dress as" party. Sometimes mixes can be quite fun. Not every party must have an centre theme.

Importantly, some may not have loads of money to spend on costumes.

If nothing else, ask your mates, all of them, what they might like, and let them feel like you cared enough to at least invite their opinions.

Maybe movie party...dress as your favorite movie lead character. Everyone has one and it will help you learn a lot about each other. Besides that you can serve popcorn and fountain pop and play movie soundtracks and one of those board games where you answer movie questions. We used to have a party once a month like this when I was your age (minus the costumes). It kept us at a parents house and we got to all be together and have fun
