  1. If true, that's burst the bubble of the anti- Ronaldo brigade.

Though I'll only really believe it when I see him kick a ball at Old Trafford again.

  2. As of right now,I don't think I can trust what comes out of Ronaldo's vocal cords anymore. But if Sir Alex and Ramon Calderon corroborates that story, then I guess it's the truth.I'm more worried about our injury list, and also our transfers. We need them badly, now that we have 10 players injured or sick or out due to suspension or the Olympics.

  3. yeah he is.

i just hope he really meant it when he say he will play with all his heart and soul!

  4. i'm not happy with him at all but i belive his comments and think he is being honest in what he said.i do believe he'll give his all when playing for utd this season..some others on here seem to be sceptical about that

  5. Well whoopee fvcking do.

  6. he is

  7. wow.....im so happy for you!

  8. I think he his only going to stop one more season, then he will be off to Madrid.

  9. i would use the word offically very losely ya never know he might just make the headlines tomorrow n say hes movin!

  10. Yay does that mean our entire squad is complete? cus according to some muppets here, we're a one- man team...

  11. Yes he is! I am soo happy! =D

    xox

  12. Mmm for all of what he said, i cant help feel his heart isn't here.

But I'm pleased not just for united but for the game to many sign these contracts and think they can just disregard them when they get bored good on united for standing their ground :)

  13. Yes it seems like it but only for a year.

  14. That £40m+ is just a dot in the distance now : (

  15. Yes it appear so, but make the most of him for the 08/09 season, i dont think he'll stay beyond that.

He's shown his true colours over all this, and proved his heart and soul isnt at Man Utd, and thinks of nobody else but himself, including The Man Utd fans, so remember that, when singing his praise.

  16. The fact Ronaldo has decided to stay at United for one more season can only be viewed as the best possible outcome for Madrid.

Staying this season means that they do not have to pay a player about £150,000 per week who can not play until October. It also means that they will not be looking to integrate a new player into the team after the season is well underway.

Ronaldo may also have taken time to settle into his role whilst being under great pressure to hit the ground running.

The outcome of him staying is that he can move straight after next season ends. He will have a whole pre-season to settle in and Madrid will not be paying for a player who can not work for them.

  17. he will be fine, but after last night he might not command an automatic first team place, and his immaturity has shone through.

  18. yes! He is staying. He said on thursday, 7 august.you can check from the yahoo website from the sports section.

  19. Yes he will, until he's recovered from his injury.  Then he'll be off like a bat out of h**l.  Who wants to buy a footballer on crutches?

  20. Yup. Ronaldo is officially staying with Manchester United this season.

But, he says that he still longs to play for Real Madrid.

I hope he stays with his contract and doesn't try to move next season though.

  21. does the whole world revolve around ronaldo and man united ?

it's all that i ever hear about, we don't all support the big 4 you know.

  22. He said that he would be staying for at least one more season.  We'll see what happens.....

  23. yup

  24. yup..

and i bet ur soo happy about it..

Jumping with joy and clicking your heels.

    =D

  25. i think he is :)

  26. he was never going anywhere, Sir Alex wouldn't let it happen, i just think that Ronaldo has finally just realised it so he is now trying to get us Man Utd fans back on side (the only way to do that is to start banging in the goals again)

he'll definitely stay for 1 more season, hopefully this will give Nani time to mature into a better player so he can replace him when he does leave, although obviously he won't be as good as Ronaldo but in 3/4 years who knows, nobody thought that Ronaldo would be the player he is today after his first season.

I just hope now that Ronaldo can have another quality season (although i'm realistic enough to know he wont score 40+ goals again, well not likely anyway) so Madrid will still be willing to pay ridiculously over the odds for him!

I'm more worried by the fact Sir Alex has said he may not make any new signings, i feel we need a new striker, as long as its not Berbatov!
