Due To my Dead computer at Home, I wasn't able to Celebrate With you Wings fans (And others) On Y!A about Our Win Last night!!!!! (Yes i'm having a Total Homer Moment, but I think its safe to say, I have the right too) Mann what a game!!! I was soooooooo Happy last night, that i couldn't sleep just thinking of the Wings holding the Cup. AHHHHHHHH!!!! HOW I LOVE THEM WINGS. You know what the best part of the game was honestly? Not the Game Winning goal by Hudler that MAF merely didn't see...It was the Penalty Kill. THE PENALTY KILL PEOPLE. That was almost UNFAIR how good it was. 5 on 3, and I was almost sure we were doomed, but noo...the Wings Proved me wrong. Anywho..

How was your reaction to the game?

AND

What are your plans for the big day tomorrow?

  1. I'll be working Monday night ::grumble:: whuich means my coworkers and I are having a little office shindig and being total cavepeople, listening no the radio or trying to get a computer feed.

  2. I really enjoyed the game last night. I had fun with who I was watching it with.

As for Monday. I play in my own hockey game on Monday at 9:15. So i will miss a good portion of the game. But I know someone will be running in from the lobby and letting us know what is happening. We had the same thing last year. I will get to see at least some of the game.

  3. One of the best games I've seen played in a while, on both sides.

Q 1. Edge of my seat and standing up screaming at the Tv during the 5 on 3.

Q 2.  Put on a six-pack of Dr pepper, make some popcorn, and fire up my DVD recorder.

  4. Last night's game was amazing and I was literally on the edge of my seat until the buzzer at the end of the game.  I loved the fact that the Wings took the lead, but I'm never comfortable with just a one-point lead and the Wings playing "keep the puck away" for the entire 3rd period.  The 5 on 3 down right scared me too and Ozzie made a few spectaular saves to keep the Wings in the lead.  Still, they pulled it out and I was right with you in not being able to sleep either.

No big plans for tomorrow.  I have to work so I'm hoping to go home afterwards and take a nap because I know I'm going to be up late watching each and every one of them hoist Lord Stanley's cup in the air again!   If I didn't have to work on Tuesday morning (5:30am), I would definitely be in Downtown Detroit at Hockeytown Cafe celebrating with everybody else though.

    Go Wings!!!!!

  5. Sadly i couldnt watch the game we had to go over some relatives house i was searching all the channels but none of them were nhl

but when i came home there was 5 mins left i turned on my computer went to nhl.com went to real time and it was 2-1 and i screamed so loud!!! i wuz like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol

    cmon wings 1 more game

  6. My reaction to the game last night was complete amazement.. We just ended a home game winning streak at Pens Arena that has been there since Feb 24 of this season.

The 2nd period was all agony cause nobody was scoring but there were many scoring chances.. Its shows us that our Goalies are quite great!

The 3rd peroid was intense all the way.. Hits, shoves, punches, And with the 1 goal from Detroit we are bring it home on Monday night baby! Hello Stanley!

  7. ahh! my heart was racing and i am not even a die hard detroit fan but i am rooting for them! I was amazed at them! so many great plays, and yeah that penalty kill was unbelieveable i thought sh*t we are gonna have to go into OT but OH NO they pulled it off!

wow they deserve the cup and they WILL WIN THE CUP!

  8. I was absolutely thrilled yesterday! My rage turned into joy when the Wings won. I am hoping they close it out tommorrow, then I can be happy for a bit.

  9. Now living in Indiana, I had to pick up my wife from Indy airport flying in from Pitt of all places, (so I missed the 2nd and 3rd period on TV) not to mention she stayed Friday night at the same hotel, The Renassaince, where she got a picture of McCarty, Downey and one with her, Homer, and Lidstrom before they boarded the bus. I pulled up to the curb and the radio was fading in and out due to the lower level arrival/pick up area I was able to listen to our buddies Ken Kal and Paul Woods on XM, (It's been since Feb since I have heard there voices so I got to listen at least) just as Huddler scored!!! I thought it was another great game, at least competitive and close, and really could have gone either way, but we prevailed and are one step closer to raising the cup! The excitement of being 2008 Stanley Cup Champs is got me buzzing even more! This TEAM is overdue and deserves it, no other team exemplifies the word!

  10. It was awesome, seeing how Z outperformed Crosby was icing on the cake to a fantastic win for the wings. I think it is safe to say that we are head and shoulders better than The Pens this year.

  11. When the Pens couldn't capitalize on the 5 on 3 I knew it was over (the game, not the series, although it looks to be over on Monday.

  12. My reaction to the game was getting really mad. Fortunately I watched the game with my Avs fan friend this time, and he assured me that the only reason the Wings are this good is because they suck.

My plans? I'll watch the game, I have to, it's my duty as a hockey fan. But it will be so, soooooo sad watching the Wings lift the Cup if they do win :'(

  13. I missed it too but thats cuz I was celebrating with my friends I see in person...

but OH MY GOSH WHAT A GAME... i got scared when Hossa scored but Ozzie and Nick save the daaaaaay...

the big penalty kill and the play by hank and the stops by ozzie and the goal by hudler and OH MY GOSH WHAT A GAME I CANT WAIT FOR TOMORROW

    WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

  14. last nights game was craaazy. it was probably the best game ive watched so far. super intense and a complete nail-biter the whole way through
