So You Think’s incredible career not quite over yet as he aims to take on Frankel
Bred in New Zealand, So You Think has made a name for himself as the best all over Europe with some grand performances. Previously trained by Australian handler Bart Cummings, he fell under Aidan O’Brien’s care after March, 2011.
Whelped in November 2006, So You Think was determined to be a success from the very first race Rosehill, Australia, where he aced the handicap in May, 2009.
The talented runner claimed his first Group victory at the same track when he competed and won the Group 3 Gloaming Stakes.

He notched his first Group 1 victory in the same campaign when he aced the Group 1 Tatts Cox Plate at Moonee Valley on 24th October, 2009, where he defeated Manhattan Rain.
As a four-year-old, the son of High Chaparral was a success in the region, and claimed five consecutive victories in 2010, which started from the Group 2 New Zealand Bloodstock Memsie Stakes at Caulfield, after which he succeeded in the Group 1 Rokk
Ebony Underwood Stakes, the Group 1 Yalumba Stakes, the Group 1 Tatts W S Cox Plate, and the Group 1 Longines Mackinnon Stakes.
The winning streak ended when he finished third in the Group 1 Emirates Melbourne Cup at Flemington in November, 2010.
At age five, the runner was transferred to Europe where Aidan O’Brien took him under his wing. Since then, the horse has truly blossomed and bagged some of the biggest races. He has gained more recognition and will continue to race to make his record
more impressive.
Foaled by Tights mare Triassic, the runner had it made in 2011, as he landed the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at Curragh, and went to on to compete in the Group 1 Prince of Wales's Stakes, where he finished as a runner-up at Royal Ascot.

In July, 2011, he finished ahead of Workforce and succeeded in the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse.
The runner went on to compete in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Classic at Churchill Downs and finished sixth.
The Smith, Magnier, Tabor, DatoTan and TunkuYahaya owned runner has competed in three starts in 2012, and two of them ended in success.

He claimed the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup for the second time and redeemed himself at Royal Ascot with a victory in the Group 1 150th Anniversary of Prince of Wales's Stakes.
Over the course of his 23 starts, the six-year-old has proved he is a brilliant runner with an overall record of 14-4-1.

After winning two consecutive races, he is on a hat-trick, and all set to compete in the Group 1 Juddmonte International Stakes at York on 22nd August, 2012.
If he performs to the best of his ability, he can take on the mighty Frankel, and go down in history as the horse who ended Frankel’s 11-race winning streak. If he was to retire after defeating Frankel, then the bay would have done his job well.
