An articulate,leftist leaning,inexperienced firebrand matched with an older, experienced,insider politician running on a platform of change with no concrete solutions running against an older, inflexible, experienced war veteran teamed with an woman with executive experience and strong convictions in her beliefs . My question is if this is all we have able to stand for a national election and all the flaws that have been pointed out ,whose fault is it that we didn't find acceptable candidates?What can we do to change the process? Have we lost our government to the Media and lobbyist? Have we become a nation of lever pullers with no thought ?

Yes.  We vote for democrats and republicans and vote for the lesser of two evils.  But the lesser of two evils is still evil.

If you think you are throwing away your vote if you don't vote for these two paties, you are wrong.  You throw away your vote if you don't vote for your beliefs.
