so i still have 3 weeks of summer before school so i wanna lose at least 10 pounds. i know....but just hear me out: so i`ve tried a lot of things like starving but ended up eating a whole cake at 3 in the morning and having these chocolate cravings that made me lose my mind. So here`s the plan: for the next 3 weeks i`m gonna eat under 1500 calories/day (i`ve done this before and i feel... fine) 6 small meals/day at 10.12.14.16 i have swimming class for an hour at 5 pm so `im still gonna have a grapefruit at 6 after the class cause it makes me really really hungry. i`m gonna drink lots of water and green tea. no soda no bread mostly no bad carbs, i`m currently 5'6 and 133 pounds. so i`t`s gonna be hard to lose but i`ll try i have to. and whenever i can i`m gonna run for 30 minutes/day. how does it sound? how much weight am i gonna lose?

  1. If you set unrealistic goals you will not meet them. Just eat half of your meals don't eat the whole thing and get some exercise in your life.  If you really want to you will.

  2. A Guide to Hoodia Cactus Plant Extract

You might have surely heard about 'Hoodia cactus plant extract' by this time as it has been broadcasted by numerous major media sources, like the 'BBC', 'The Today Show', 'CBS' and much more. Because of this, Hoodia Gordonii products have quickly ascended to become one of the fastest growing segments of the 'diet supplement market'.

Before choosing a Hoodia product you should know that there are many kinds of Hoodia plant, but only the Hoodia Gordonii type has an astonishing 'appetite suppressing' quality. These properties have been known about for centuries by a primitive tribe known as the 'Sans Bushmen'. During mid 1990s an institute called the C.S.I.R. 'Council for Scientific and Industrial Research' was conducting a study of native plants eaten by the 'Sans Bushmen'. Basically, the study was to see what foods, the 'Sans Bushmen' were taking that protected the toxic compounds. When the C.S.I.R. studied Hoodia Gordonii, they found it was not only non-toxic, but also it helped to suppress the appetite of animals it used to feed to.

Hoodia Cactus PlantFinally, the C.S.I.R. isolated the active ingredient responsible for the 'appetite suppressing' effects and called it 'P57'. This is the 'Hoodia cactus extract'. They then sold the rights of 'P57' to a British pharmaceutical company called 'Phytopharm'. You may be wondering how it can be there are so many Hoodia products on the market if only 'Phytopharm' has the rights to 'P57'. The answer lies in the patent laws. You know that, only 'Phytopharm' can extract the active molecule called 'P57' from Hoodia Gordonii and use it in their product line. But a whole natural plant - in this case the Hoodia Gordonii plant- cannot be patented. As a result, other companies' can very well produce supplements or products made from Hoodia Gordonii and sell them legally.

The important thing for consumers right now is to make sure that they are buying a product that contains genuine South African Hoodia Gordonii.

  3. I'm just gonna give you the info i've learned.

If you eat low carbs, then start eating regular carbs, there is high chance you will gain the weight slowly.

The carbs you eat gets turned into energy.  The carbs you dont use gets turned into fat (stored enegery).  So that is why its not good to eat about 4 hours before you go to bed, depending on your metabolism.

Starving is the worst way because your not getting the nutrients you need to survive.

Avoid fatty foods.  Like no fast food.  If you go out to eat, then try to look for the healthy things.  When eatting a salad, use no fat or low fat dressing.  Just because the boxes are labeled "... Diet food ", Doesnt mean it will help you lose weight.

    Excerise is good.

  4. The calorie allowance is fine, as long as you stay above 1200, but you really shouldn't eat in such a small timeframe. 6 small meals is definitely the way to go, but you need to spread them out further. The idea of the multiple meals is to boost your metabolism, but going for 16 hours without food will actually slow it down. Eat earlier in the day, and eat a little later. People who tell you not to eat after 5 or 6 pm are full of it. Unless you go to bed at like 7, you can and should eat later than that. It should be something every 2-3 hours while awake, INCLUDING something VERY light about an hour before you go to bed. Trust me, this will make you burn much more efficiently, not to mention make you feel more comfortable. I'll admit I have a screwy fast metabolism to begin with, but I can easily take in 3000-3500 calories a day without gaining any weight.

Make sure you're getting enough protein, which can be hard to do on a really restricted diet. There's nothing wrong with a little whole wheat or nut bread. Just don't go with white or starchier stuff. You do need some carbs.

You may or may not lose the whole 10 lbs by then. I kinda hope you don't, honestly. How big is your frame? Your goal is the very lower end of what is healthy for that height, so unless you have a tiny frame, you probably shouldn't be that light. I'm the same height as you, and I look sickly if I weigh less than 135, and I like the way I look 10 lbs heavier than that, though I'm heavily muscular, so that adds quite a bit.

Either way, good luck, and stay healthy.

  5. You should use some weight lose tools. http://www.projectweightloss.com is a free web site with this kind of tools. Try it.

  6. omg your not overweight at all or anything but ill just help you here whenever you have a craving drink a BIG glass of water. it normally fills your hunger and stops your cravings remember that  cravings only last up to 15 minutes so try to wait them out too. and then add your plan and you should loose some weight also. add more exercise maybe running every day but not too much cuz that can do so much damage.
