  1. Ants are attracted to the sweet taste of toothpaste! Honestly, using vinegar is the easiest solution i think anyone can give you. Try pouring drops of it around their entry and along the window seals, rather than spraying it.

    Good luck!

  2. Try ant toro.  The ants will eat the liquid, take it back to the nest and the queen ant will die and should help eliminate them.

  3. Do you have cayanne pepper? Its a dried powder that a lot of people have in their pantry...I read that it gets rid of ants so try putting it on little plates all around your room or if your willing to clean up the mess, sprinkle it where the ants are to try to get them to go away...Good luck!!!

  4. When ants find an entry point into the house, they will always use that entry point.  So, cleaning the area is good.  But they will always know that they can enter the house from this particular spot.

Go buy some Terro.  It's a clear liquid.  Put some of it in the entry hole where they are coming from.  Once the ants find out that they can't enter there, they won't come back.  Or course, they'll find a different spot, but at least you won the battle.

  5. First, clean whatever spilled.  Spray the ants with soapy water, the amonia will kill them, and wont make your room stink.  It will keep them at bay, but you can get these ant traps (by Tarro) and they get rid of them in a day or so.

  6. I have had limited success using plain old ground cinnamon sprinkled in the area you see them.  I've used it after wiping down my kitchen cabinets that they swarmed for some Tastykakes and I haven't seen them back since.  I tried that since I didn't want pesticides around the food.  That was almost 1 1/2 years ago and still no ants.

But make sure you clean up as much as possible or nothing will keep them from coming back.

Personally, I think you would be better off saying something to your parents in the long run.  Even if they are mad at first, they could get something that is a sure-fire 100% fix rather than trying to hide it using a possible fix.

  7. Clean all the food out of the room then put down ant traps they will go away within the day I had the same problem good luck
