When I was younger, I believed everything I read about the supernatural. After I read a book called The Skeptic's Guide to the Paranormal, I completely believe that ghosts and psychics do not exist. If anyone would like to present me with information that proves otherwise, please do so.

BONUS QUESTION: Automatic best answer to the "psychic" who can guess what three digit number i just wrote down on a piece of paper.

  1. 148, your y/a score

and i guess that you dont believe in them then?

  2. I'm not.  I think when we're young, we always believe in "stuff".  The same is true of humanity.  When we don't know something, we make believe to fill the void of knowledge.  That's how we end up with religion.  But people eventually grow up and realize some things are just unknown.  My grandma, however, does believe in ghosts.  She saw a shadow moving around once near an outhouse.

  3. Well I don't know about the psychics and all, but all I can present is the fact that I know what I've seen growing up in a house that had a spirit or something in it. We all saw it and thats just enough for me.

    Umm ok just for fun....

    572 for the #...am I close?

  5. Like God, there is no proof that ghosts, do or don't exist. There is evidence to support that something of a paranormal nature is occurring, for instance we have photographs, EVPs, video footage, etc. to suggest that they do.

Psychics on the other hand , they are murky waters. They could be good actors or genuinely psychic.

Might I suggest you do more research on the subject, because hardly one book should change your beliefs about this matter.it is one source of information by one group. In order to have  a conclusive argument that ghosts and the like don't exist you should receive more sources of information because of one group you get says that they don't exist, but then you don't compare it to another. How do you know the first group you used are right?Perhaps they are altering their findings to support their view.

Also, the whole *smirk* is petty, immature, and uncalled for.it is suggesting that you are higher than people who believe in ghosts because you think you know for a fact that they don't exist when all you have is one book on the subject whose initial idea is to not believe in anything of the paranormal, be doubtful of their existence.

Key to knowledge= an open mind

now I am no psychic but is the number 113?

EDIT: I never said you didn't  have an open mind.it was my fault for putting it under the paragraph  with regards for the smirk. I was referring to those who wrote the book.Skeptics by definition are already doubtful of things, which you can't be when investigating soemthign of any nature, paranormal or otherwise.I aplogize if I have offended you in any way.
