i bought a converter box but instead of the static i have grown to know and love now i get pixilization what are some good methods to overcome this

  1. If you had static before and pixelization now, you are getting a marginal signal into the box.  That's what the static was on your analog set.

    I don't know hat type of antenna you are using, but you probably need to get a better one and make sure it is aimed properly.  http://antennaweb.org is a good resource for that.

    As for if they are trying to s***w up TV on purpose, the US Congress is driving this . . . need I say more? [* sigh *]

  2. 1. If you have continuous video and sound, but it looks "pixelly" then you would need a new TV to make it look better.  Possibly a better converter box would help.

    2. If the sound and video are being interrupted when you describe it as pixilization, then the signal reception is poor and you need a better antenna.   Go here
