So are we animals, afterall?

We fight for territory, we kill other animals to eat them, we copulate, we crash the weak to survive, and some million years we used to eat eachother...

Are we really DIVINE, or is it something we created to cover our dirty truth?

The lower lifeforms do not have this capacity.

there are two ways you could look at this time tested question.  i like to look at the earth as one big ant farm and we are the ants that dig the tunnels through time. there is no divinity through ant farming and if there is any its all in our heads. the second way you could look at it is if we are the divine creatures on this planet how is it there hasn't been a generation since the creation of man with out a war? I'll tell you why,its because we are a simple species with no purpose other than the self appointed ones.

If you classify humans biologicaly, we are in the same class as monkeys (primates). I don't think we are animals, but I think cave men long ago had animal habits and physical features. You never know, we could all be a couple of animals on planet Earth.

We are extremely intelligent animals.  I think there is something "devine" in us though don't pretend to know and don't know if it is only in humans.  Humans are clearly animals.  Nearly everyone our our bones has a corresponding bone in my pet cat.  My blood is the same, muscles are the same (my cat is much more athletic), and even the DNA is probably 95 per cent the same.  Any subjective comparison would have to conclude we are indeed mammals, and animals in every way.

Personally, I dont really think were divine. when you reach a certain level of science and math you can show that the entire set of events in the bible such as walking on water can actually be done sometimes in the natural world by average joe.

Also, immaculate conception? please. unless we wherent using dna yet, it doesnt happen. I really dont think were anything special. Especially after reading platos works on religion. quite enlightning actually.

With regards to being "civilized", we are the only animal that kills our own kind. You rarely hear of a lower form of animal killing their own kind.

Practically, we are classified as mammals. But we have the intelligence to rule over all the other animals on earth. The Bible says God made Adam to rule over all the animals. That may explain why we are more intelligent than other animals.

We are not divine but if you believe the Bible, our spirit inside us is divine. According to the Bible, we are spiritually dead unless we receive Jesus. That explains for good miracles that were unexplainable by science.

We are living in a fallen world. Look at the wars, the disasters & the diseases around us. Our lustful thoughts, greed, selfishness are the curse of the flesh. That is something that can't be help. Anyone who says he/she is morally perfect is lying.

I don't believe there is anything divine about humanity, and I say that as an anthropologist, a scientist, and a Christian. Humans are definitely animals, but we're also definitely separate from the other animals. The fact that we separate ourselves  the way we do is part of what makes us separate. I tend to think that, as animals go, we are blessed. I also tend to think that, as animals go, we often ruin that blessing by being...well...animals.
