Question:

So bored with typical teenage life?

I can't take this. I don't know how people can be all excited over their pitiful lives. How can you call hanging out with your friend exciting? I don't want to go to the beach or see a movie. It's all so boring. But because of my high standards, I've been sitting here doing nothing. What should I do? I'm 14 by the way.

  1. Read books. I know it might sound boring but expands your mind and changes the way you think and view the world. Reading can open your eyes to other cultures and times. Every book has something to teach you.

  2. i am 14 too and my cousins say once u get older u wont be as bored but for the meanwhile get a job babysittingng or something or just walk around your neighborhood

  3. it would be a lot funner if you were more positive about your life! feel lucky for everything you have and use it to your advantage.  Yes, a lot of teenagers talk about nonsense but it doesn't mean you have to.  For now, just enjoy high school (or middle school) and be adventurous.  You would be more thrilled with whatever you do..

-call up a friend and do something fun like go ice skating or do paint ball...to add drama to your "boring" life you could invite some people you don't know that well, maybe even your CRUSH!

  4. thank god, someone with a brain! good for you for not succumbing to typical girl behavior! you seem like a person with a higher intelligence and you'll stay out of trouble for it, trouble that may cost you a job or a college entrance later on. instead of wasting your time, do something useful with it. learn a new skill, a foreign language, volunteer, get a job, research a topic, etc. don't sit around doing nothing! you have all this time, now use it to your advantage.
