So could the Jets trade Farve to the Vikings or the Bears?

Now that he belongs to the Jets could they trade him to the Vikings or the Bears?

He has said more then once that's where he wants to be.

Or do you think in the trade there was a condtion that he could not be traded again this year?

The condition is against the Jets trading him to the Vikings.  The Packers stipulated that if the Jets did so, they'd have to give the Packers three first round draft picks.  There's no stipulation against the Jets trading Favre to the Bears, and them trading him to the Vikings.  It's not likely, but there's no rule preventing it.

Ted Thompson made the price for trading Favre to the Vikings sufficiently high that the Jets most probably would not do it.  The Jets would have to give the Packers three first round draft picks next year if they do so, and they are simply not in a position to give up those valuable picks.

Of course, Minnesota could give the Jets those types of picks back for Favre, but THEY don't want to do that either.

Well if the Jets trade Favre to the Vikings then the Jets give up their next 3 1st round draft picks.  That means the next 3 drafts, the Jets have NO 1st round draft picks.  As for the Bears, I am not sure if the Jets can or not.  The reason the Packers put that in for the draft picks if he gets traded to the Vikings is because the Packers did NOT want Brett to go to the Vikings.  So, if I were the Jets, I wouln't trade Brett to the Vikings because I wouldn't want to lose 3 first round draft picks.

Farve is a Jet now.  There is a provision in the trade that says if they trade Farve to an NFC North team the packers get 3 first rounder draft picks. Plus the jets are set to release pennington this afternoon, so a trade is not going to happen.  And in case youre wondering, they cant trade farve to another team and then that team trades him to NFC North team, it will still come back to the jets and the jets will still owe the packer 3 first rounders.  There is one way farve can still be on the vikings and that would be if the jets released farve.  Then farve would be free to sign with any team.
