Question:

So do we have to start "hating" QLD now?

Or is it still too early, I lived up North for 4 years, loved it, except it became to boring, even at the beach!

Lets face it most Qlders were originally from Sydney anyway, most are our cousins, or friends we lost years ago!

Do you think the "hatred" is more prolific among Qlders towards NSW, or was it mostly that way 10-15 years ago?

  1. yeah its part of being a new south welshman hating the queenslanders for 3 days a year...

  2. yes you do QLD hates NSW

  3. I started yesterday

  4. I am a queenslander born and bred!

if anything (and you wont like this), many 'Queenslanders' are now victorians.

Its really bad, up here, some driving rules are different to allow things to be dont easier (like more U turns ect); its really fustrating when you get a guy with Victorian (and sometimes NSW) plates that cant do a simple U Turn....then they complain that its too hot in Winter!

grr.......I wish they just kept pitching Queensland as a holiday getaway; but now they are also advertising to live here too!.....

  5. I live in NSW and i hate qld with all my heart. Mostly because they hate us!

  6. hate all you want losers, QLDs gonna clean up. NSW has been nothing (compared to the Maroons anyways) since joey left

  7. It's more rivalry than hatred. Like some AFL coach said: "If you're getting to that point in sport, you're probably a little obsessed and need to step back a bit." (not sure if that's the exact wording it's from memory)

  8. GO THE MIGHTY MAROONS!

    GO THE MIGHTY REDCLIFFE DOLPHINS!

IF YOUR A QLD SUPPORTER YOU HATE BLUE WITH A PASSION!

  9. Who said we ever stopped?

  10. my brother and sister moved up to brisbane many years  ago.the reasons are sydney are too cold during winter.now they're are paying too much for their electric bills by the way of air condition all year round.they asked me to move with them up north.i said no way i would leave sydney for sunny brissie.im love the sydney winter.don't need a heater around the house, just extra winter clothing and doona during my ZZZZZZZZ.plus i would like to celebrate the blues wins against the cane toad in sydney not brissie.i dont hte them but i love the blues belting those cane toads in the greatest game of all.go the BLUES.

  11. The thing I love about origin is that I don't cheer for either NSW or QLD.

Why, I'm from ACT.  Neutral territory

  12. There has always been a hate, especially from players when origin first started who have played for both sides.

close is one that hates NSW, as does vautin, but where would they be now if they did not come to NSW to play for Manly?  They were happy to take the money and then turn on those who gave them a start.

qld is a nice place to visit, but i wouldn't want to live there!

  13. another excuse from a bored NSW supporter?

wouldnt blame you, theres nothing to do in NSW, and i should know. i live there.

lol at the loser that said something about not doing anythin in NSW?

yeah i really enjoy going to half filled stadiums IF THAT. i like going to dirty beaches. i like paying shite fuel prices. i like living in NSW obviously.

NSW is shite. better than QLD at everything? AHAH.

  14. rerere chealsea if you live in sydney and your bored it's prolly cuz u cant find fun or you just aren't that mcuh fun. qld is **** without the gold coast, qld hates nsw but we are better than them in everything, melbourne hates us and we all know we kick their *** to.

  15. yes, ofcourse i never stop! I live in qld have for last 10 years still go for the blues though, great time of year n its all in good fun.          And i have to say there is alot of nsw ppl up here

ohh and qld is the most boring place i have lived nsw ftw......:D

  16. I'm from QLD! I agree that there is strong friction between QLD and NSW during the football season, but it's all in good fun. i don't hink it should be a 'hatred', that's a bit extreme, and how can you hate us if you lived here for 4 years?

Come on now that's not fair....   :)

And most queenslanders are definately not from sydney. Most of the people in my hometown have lived there their whole life. Others are from other parts of queensland but I'm from Perth.

Some of my best friends support the Blues. Are you saying you don't know anyone who supports the Maroons where you live?

    That's a bit steep
