My xbox has been cutting off sporadically and freezing up and giving my error messages. I did get the red ring of death once but it went away. My warranty was out of date so i opened my xbox and put back the sealer sticker. I just sent my console into microsoft after i told them i had the red ring of death what do you think my odds are of getting it fixed?

  1. I think your chances are pretty good as long as they don't notice.  Since they can't fix the Red Ring of Death they probably won't check the xbox.

  2. I've never taken off the sticker for an xbox but if they are like the ps2 the sticker changes once pealed.  The sticker on the ps2 read warranty void.  If the xbox has the same kind of sticker then it will be easy to see it.  They will still fix it for you but you'll have to pay for it.

  3. why u open the xbox?

how good doid u put that sticker backmon

  4. no

  5. I just sent my xbox in.  My warranty was also out.  I paid 107.00 for them to repair or replace it.  For that I got shipping both ways, an xbox360 that works, another year warranty, and a 30 day xbox live gold membership.
