So do you think that we are going to get involved in this new Russian war?

This is how I think its going to happen. I think that we are going to step in to protect our oil. Then Iran is going to step in. Then all the rest of NATO are going to be crying about peace and not doing a d**n thing. And the US is going to be fighting like 8 wars at once. I mean hey were invincible right? So lets challenge ourselves and see how many countries we can be at war with at once! What do you guys think?

I think USA and NATO are lot stronger than Russia is in conventional warfare.  But Russia has declared in the past that it will use nuclear weapons first, if that what it takes to defend itself against outside aggression.

And for this reason USA probably won't get involved directly against Russia.  

As far as Russia is concerned, USA and NATO have set a precedent for what is happening now.  When USA and NATO have bombed the c**p out of Serbia a few years ago in similar circumstances.  

Russia probably will try to do the same to Georgia now.  They'll blow away their power stations, bridges, and ports.  And they'll probably keep bombing until the Georgian government gives in to Russian demands.

I unfortunately agree, But I dont think its just going to be with  Russia, I dont think we should be in China because I dont trust them, they are a communist country along with Russia and if they decide to invade us guess   who's going down. That will be considered world war 3 Not to mention the Arab countries they have a religion war going on right now and I expect it to spread into our country, we already have the Islam radicals here spreding their relgion on the internet.and else where. We dont have a bright outlook  in our future.
