Question:

So does anyone actually believe Russia attacked Georgia?

Georgia attacked South Ossetia, a nation that declared its independence in the early 90's and has not been recognized as such by the United Nations. Georgia (part of the former Soviet Union and not the State in America) attacked Ossetia first and Russia came to their aid. The united States is saying the opposite since they fund Georgia (the country and not the state in america) billions of military dollars a year.

So, who still believe the U.S.?

  1. Thanks for posting an intelligent and informed "question".

(Re: "some posters"...It really is is sad that when faced with a lot different "facts" than the silly stuff fed to them on their network news...they STILL don't look it up...maybe it is some kind of variation on the "battered woman syndrome".)

Sure, I know the head of the Georgian military and the head of communications (whatever his title was) are both dual citizen Israelis. I know that Israeli and US commandos werestill in the midst of training the Georgian troops when they "took a day off" to go to war against the South Ossetians!!! (I swear that is a partial quote from one of the  trainers...)

I know that on Aug 7 Russia asked the UN for an Emergency meeting  to stop the Georgians since they had already razed several small villages and then on Aug 8th, the Georgians attacked the capital city Tskhinvili. Russia entered on Aug 9th, to stop the killing (1600 Ossetian civilians and 30 peacekeepers of Russian heritage.)

I know the Georgian President lied several times to the BBC saying a town was attacked by Soviet tanks that wasn't. He did not know that there were Finnish reporters there that immediately refuted him with video!

The Russians took a lot of video, too and allowed foreign reporters to record them strolling amiably around.

I know that both Karl Rove and Condi Rice met with the Georgian President last month. And that John McCain's #1 advisor/Lobbyist just got $200,000 from Georgia to have influence with the US  Congress so we will see what McCain will do for them!

  2. Georgia made the attack, and not because they want to free the people living in South ossetia, but because they want to conquer that land filled with pipelines.

And US and EU are supporting that because they don't want a Russian monopoly over the pipelines.

The bad guys are greedy Georgians anyways.

  3. Yeah, I do, because the timing by the Russians was too convenient, when it comes to the response of the military resources.  I tend to think the people saying that Russians had the South Ossetians provoke the Georgian government are right.

  4. Russia is regressing back to the old Soviet union and they are doing a land grab, it is sad but true, and we can do nothing about it as we don't want a war with the Soviet Union as we would lose for sure, as we are spread too thin.

  5. look at a map look how big russia is. so i don't care what happened weather you telling the truth or the gov is we should never never never take Russia's side in anything. don't forget they hate us.

  6. I'm not sure I do...I have not believed them for eight years now...
