Poke Root is potent and should be used with caution - no more than 8ml per week of liquid extract for 150 lb adult. It does not yield all its properties to water. Large doses cause vomiting.

No it doesn't.  It increases you natural killer cells which is important in keeping your immune system healthy.  This is more commonly called pokeweed.  It also has anti inflammatory and anti-viral properties.
