So easy to get a drivers license, why do so many people suck at it.?

I don't know why, but it seriously seems unbelievably easy to get your license in America today. I only state this on account it being a fact because I see it EVERY time I drive. Oriental women not men but oriental women are the worst drivers in the world. I am not saying ALL, just most of them. Oriental men seem to drive fine. Old people in general over 75, no matter what s*x, race, ethnicity just should not be allowed to drive unless they renew their DL every year. In general, what type of people are the worst kind of drivers do you guys think? Answer based on fact of what you have seen not what you think. I only ask this because Ill be behind someone going ridiculously slow below the limit, or cut someone off with out a turn signal, or just suck at driving and when I go to see who is driving its 95% of the time a asian women. (Sorry asian women who can drive I know there are some out there.... some)

I think teenagers are worst drivers because they have less experience and full understanding of the pros and cons of driving safely and with license.

Most of the time they stole car from their parents and drive without permission; go for a road trip; drive the car as fast as he can to look cool or to show out or perhaps indulging in social delinquencies like what most of the youth are currently experiencing.

Its like parenting.  Another thing that's easy to do, but so many people suck at it.  It's easy to get the lisence, but people don't really care much after that.

that is only based on your personal accounts, not statistics, so it is biased and inaccurate.it's not a race issue but more a gender issue.insurance rates are higher for males than females is for a reason...because they're worst drivers than woman;-P most of the guys I know have had multiple speeding tickets or fender benders and the females have far less citations and teen to early 20's guys are the rudest drivers that need a serious ego-check, in my biased opinion lol

Race aside, it seems that the younger population believe that they have the driving skills of those that they watch on tv or in the movies, not to mention video games.. They have no foundation for this. They have no real world experience or at best rudimentary training. These young people are driving vehicles that keep them alive because of the vehicles technology, not driver skills.    A question to the  asker. what does the drivers race have to do with driving skills?

I think the worst drivers are those in luxury cars (BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc) they get an ego trip going and seem to think because they spent so much money on their vehicle, they are above the driving rules and are better than others on the road. I notice these drivers cut others off, never use their signals, and are constantly chatting on their cells. They're rude, but the joke's on them. I'm not the one who spent $50,000 on a car that will only depreciate in value. I'll spend $20,000 and use the other $30,000 for vacationing!

You are correct about Asian women drivers. I live close to the famous "Little Saigon" in Orange Co., Ca., and I know this from personal experience.

After visiting Saigon Vietnam, I figured out why. There is very little enforcement of traffic laws, so there is very little attention paid to them. Then they come over here and drive the same way

(for a while) until the cost of tickets becomes a reality.

I have seen Asian drivers make a right hand turn from a LEFT TURN ONLY lane, cutting across four lanes of traffic to do it, totally oblivious to the honking and tire screeching they caused.
