we will let them bleed us dry, we have no choice really and they know it and they will all have very nice pay rises! no room in my garden for a wind thingy, neighbours will complain because my garden is the size of a postage stamp. We could all cut down to reduce our bills, eat a lot of cold food, wash once a week when the water has been on, (thats when you do your washing up for the week)  wash by hand using a powder that disolves in cold water, no lights on untill 9.00 then bed at ten, enough is enough of that.  No tv you play games for that hour then nighty night. At least if your cuddled up in your bed you don't need the fire on.

Most of the apathetic UK will carry on paying.

There are however products such as home solar panels and wing turbines on the marketbut I don't expect the UK population to buy that many.

to be honest if it gets worst I'm going to miver my family to get some turbines ,maybe with the price of fuel going up people will save more energy and everything will come back into place if people have a lest wasteful habits

What good would a generator do?  You have to fuel it to use it.  We need new technology so we can tell OPEC to FO.
