So far, who has inspired you the most in the current Olympics?

Olympics has been known to bring inspirational stories to the people. Which one stands out for you in the current olympics?

  1. The little Chinese boy who was with Yao Ming in the opening ceremony. He was in school when the earthquake hit China and was stuck in the collapsed building. Once he got out he went back in to save a few of his classmates. In the 3rd grade I believe. What a hero.


  2. There's too many. It's the underdogs, like India earning it's first medal or even Mongolia with their gold medal. It's the people that don't expect to win a medal, but are there for the experience, and then end up winning.

    I do have to mention one specific person, and that's Dara Tores. She is the perfect example of what an olympian is supposed to be. She made it to the olympics at an age where most people are considered "over-the-hill" for swimming, and it wasn't about her. When a competing country had swimsuit issues, she held up the competition so the other swimmer could get out there. She was genuinely happy for the person that beat her out. She was there for the experience, and that's what matters.

  6. it's a cliche to answer either dara torres or michael phelps....but i would have to say michael phelps

  7. dara torres for the women and micheal phelps for the men. they are both awesomely good
