a new quarterback who posted a (pre-season but still) perfect QB rating, Mike Martz's system, some good receivers and Patrick Willis and the D... I say they take the NFC West this year.

But what do you say?

  2. Guess what?? JT O'Sullivan is only having a stroke of luck. He will be benched by the mid-season. He has been a terrible backup his whole career. Alex Smith, in my opinion, is the better QB.

  3. The 9ers are in the worst division in football.

    If they want to make the playoffs they are going to HAVE to win the division.

    The Pack, Vikes, and 3 teams from the NFC East will have better records than the 9ers, plus the team who wins the South will make the playoffs.

    If the 9ers don't win the West, then we have to finish with a better record than the Giants, Skins, and Phili, assuming the Boys win the east. And the Pack, Vikes and Bears.

    There's only 2 wildcards. Probably both going in the East.

    BUT, I do think we have a great shot to compete with a seahawks team that is on it's way down while the rest of the West is on the way up.

  4. Sounds like they're gonna be pretty good.They also gotta play the Cowboys this year (a rivalry from the early 90's). What you think the outcome gonna be like? How bout them Cowboys?

    PatriCK Willis is the D, the receivers suck, o-line is worse, and Shaun Hill is better.

    Yea if those guys are so great, why is the 49ers D still sucking?

  7. I say 49ers go like 9-7 or 10-6.... martz will deff imrprove them and oshillivan will becoime a good QB..

  8. I think they have a chance, but the seahawks are a pretty good team, so that will be stiff competition.  Rams and Cards are both awful teams this year, so I'm excited to see what happens with this team.

    we are gonna make all the this year and preseason doesn't mean anything it's all comes down to the regular season

  14. JT will collapse by week 7 after only winning 1 game.  Then Smith will step in and lead the team to a 7-9 record.
