  1. I think that by using our technology and expertise to develop and promote new energy is our best road to the future. We could be the leader in the production of alternate energy production, the equipment needed land the items that would use it.

Unfortunately, companies have been very short sighted. Now many cottage industries are attempting to surmount the barriers that government has placed on them. Our government for decades has been very favorable to the oil producers. Our economy has been built around it.

We can change this in a very short time. First we must make electric powered vehicles more efficient and less costly than gas. Then we must make the turbines using renewable resources available to those who need the electricity to power those same cars. If government even subsidized the initial industry, the tax revenues and jobs provided would quickly return the money.

One example is the newly patented EESU (electric energy storage unit). It is supposed to be almost 10 times more efficient than lithium ion batteries. However the patents have been purchased by Lockheed for the unit to be developed for military purposes. Having a miniature predator that can fly for hours with a camera, a transmitter and perhaps a lethal weapon might be desirable, but so would a car that would go 500 miles between charges.

  2. Make people like me pay more taxes on our incomes. People under 15,000 a year should not have to pay income taxes. People over 15,000 shoud pay income taxes.

15,000.01 to 25,000 should pay .04 cents on the dollar.

25,000.01 to 35,000 should pay .045 cents on a dollar.

    et ect ect.

  3. We have to take advantage of other people's resources and use them!  That's how economy works!

  4. If I had an good answer to that I'd probably be national treasurer, but here is my two cents:

    * Incentive/Pressure American businesses to allow only an specified percentage of their activities done overseas.

    * Use (given that they can't work) low-risk prisoners for social work, like recycling, cleaning streets, anything that has to do with maintenance of the city, so that tax payers can see their money better spent.

    * Copy education models from other countries with minor percentage of students dropping classes. The more educated the person, the better for the country's future.

    * Scrutinize the way Social programs work at this moment. i.e. People who collect unemployment as have the aptitude but not the attitude to find a job... I  know a lot of lazy people that don't want to work and are physically and emotionally capable of doing it.

    * Put better transportation systems in place to promote people commute and save some money.

  5. things we can do to fix the economy

    buy american made goods.

    save some of our money.

look at what our politicans say about how they would fix the economy.  research these ideals and if they are not sound don't vote for them.
