...and if someone actually knew the answer, would he/she be wasting his/her time sharing that secret with a bunch of pseudo philosopher douchebags who post these "deep" questions just to kill time at work?

  1. 43, but who's counting?

  2. As often as suckers answer it.

  3. ...once to MANY...how do you handle it when its pouring...

  4. Nice question and  every true observation.

It is one of those questions that can only be truly faced by facing life and by living ;-))

I am still without an answer for that question, but I feel that if will be the final and personal question that I will ask my self at the end of my life, if I have the time, before shuffling off the mortal coil!

When I ask myself 'What was the meaning of my life?', I hope I will not be left someone else responce!

  5. Well, I don't know, but I found the answer to what OM means here ;-)

    Close enough??

  6. I agree with you 100%. My answer to that question would be: Dear friend, borrow a dictionary from a neighbour if you don't have one then find the meaning of "Life" yourself.

  7. A lot.  But I try to look on the bright side... at least it's too stupid of a question to be some kid's homework assignment.  Even worse than that, I've given a couple polite explanations on how to find the answer, only to have like 8 people jump all over themselves blurting it out for some lazy student.  Sorry to monopolize the subject... it's nice to vent. =P

  8. Too many times to count Nolte.  Honestly, I yawn and skip over them.  However, this is not the most frequently asked question on YA.  The most asked question is: "Am I pregnant?"  I feel the same way about members that ask this question.  Duh.....like anyone would know the  real answer to either one of these questions.

  9. What are two bit actors doing in the Philosophy section, lol

  10. As many times as it takes until someone presents the truth, or one's close approximation of the truth based on their particular opinion.

  11. People are always asking because God has put it in the heart of man that mankind would search for the answer to the most important question of life!

  12. probably as much as the "why are aateist here on R and S?" questions asked.

if I knew the answer ,I might share it,but since they can't spell atheist,I doubt they would understand whatever I was trying to explain

  13. Too many times per hour...for sure.  And I've tired of explaining to them that it's simply that part between Birth and Death. No more!

  14. U sound like N Nolte all right !!

I think there R millions having this Q, waiting in queue, each thinks that he is asking about his own life.

  15. Before man can grasp the "meaning of life", man trends to search and research, think and rethink.

I think it is fun to observe and ask why people love to eat similar food with similar eating process again and again.  Yes, it's just because we need food to live !  The same, we need something to fulfill our mind/soul/spirit about the meaning of life !

We are hungry and thirsty for the meaning of life...

We eat, not just because we are good chefs...

We think, not just because we are good thinkers...

  16. i  think d meaning of life is born to b ALIVE n waiting for d time to DIE lar!

  17. I've never done a statistical analysis of this topic, but I'd guess it's the most asked question in this section of Y!A.

  18. The same number of times as "How can a 14year-old make money on line.." is asked overall on Answers....

  19. Lol, I was thinking the exact same thing XD
