So how much is too much to drink before you drive!??

like is one beer ok to have then drive??

cuz i've seen people in restaurants and they have one then drive off.

seems like a normal ok thing, and if so is it ok to have like 2 or 3 then drive or what do u say is the limit??

just wondering.

My limit is, one drink is one too many.

Sure, I know people who drink a few and then drive home and seem to do okay, but I also know people who can no longer walk because they were hit by a drunk driver.

It's important to remember that being under the legal limit (0.08pct BAC in most of the USA) doesn't get you off the hook completely; if there's ANY trace of alcohol in your system and you're driving erratically or fail a field sobriety test, you can still be guilty of a lesser crime.  In my state a DWI (driving while intoxicated) is driving while over the legal limit, while a DUI (driving under the influence) applies to anyone who drives erratically or fails a field sobriety test and has BAC > 0.

Depends on your weight, gender, how often you drink, how fast you drank, body fat content...the list goes on.  You are probably ok with 2 or maybe even 3, but the best rule of thumb is that if you are not sure, don't.

The legal limit is one beer an hour and you should be fine to drive and if you are pulled over, you cant get in any legal trouble for drinking that many.
