...visiting me? what does this mean? as in my dead animals (2 dogs) and my grandmother and relatives i didn't know.

Dreams of transition - are you growing up?  When you grow up there's things you have to leave behind.  Perhaps dead souls come to say goodby to you in dreams - who knows?  The Universe is a big place and lots of things are possible.  So you give up childhood and take on adulthood and that's a huge change - makes for lots of activity in the unconscious or perhaps in the spirit world if such a thing were to exist.
