so i asked this question before but i didnt get good answers and i was told it would be easier if i told what a dream was about. it just so happens i had a vivid one last night. but basicly these dreams are occuring every night and i really need to get rid of them. they're distracting and i have them all night every night and i wake up tired like i hadn't slept at all that night. i dont drink cafeen at all either.

  1. I agree that it's alot of stress and many thoughts while you're awake, hence the dreams. If you take pills to relax, you won't be having so many thoughts (like antidepressants) but I don't recommend it.

Dreaming too much means that one's life has a lot of stress and one thinks too much. Ask a doctor, he'll say the same thing but he/she will advise you better.

Yeah the dream sounds like a bit too much stress and that your brain is actually working! :)

  2. Sleep is necesary to people due to dreams. You need the REM state of brain so that it can "copy" information you picked up into your brain.

So no... you cant stop having dreams. Even if you think you don't have them... you do. The point is the reason you remember dreams is because the frequency your brain works at while sleeping is a little higher than usual.

So the only way you can fix whatever problems you have is by relaxing. Everything you explained is stress related. So take a chill pill :P
