So i got a speeding ticket last November in 2007???---?

What kind of record does that go into, and does it go into a criminal record?? does it ever get cleared?

  1. idk about your state but here in FL you have a point sys where they add point ..a ticket dosent mean you goin to have a criminal record unless is several like u crash and run lol.. idk yes about a year or so i think

It becomes a part of your PERMANENT driving record.  Insurance companies can go back 3 to 7 years to check for moving violations and this is how they determine what to charge you for insurance.  Depending on how much OVER the speed limit is, will determine the severity of the charge and for how long it is held against you.  While moving violations stay on your record permanently, you can only be held accountable for them for up to 7 years.  (Exceptions, DUI's DWI's - if you are a repeat offender, each violation accrues and makes the sentence harder/longer)

    Depending on the TYPE of moving violation will determine if you get a criminal record as well.

  3. Goes into an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report). As long as you pay the fine, it shouldn't become criminal.
