So i got my industrial piercing a few days ago. ?

Question

I want to do whatever i can to avoid getting an infection. I clean it about two to three times a day with Bactine and then sometime i put Polysporin on it. Is there anything else i should or could do to clean it.

just use liek a sea salt spray. you'll be fine

You should be doing sea salt soaks 2-3 times a day for about 10 minutes for the first few weeks.  About 1/4 teaspoon non-iodized seas salt to 8 oz of warm water.  That will help keep it from getting infected.  If you start to develop any hypertrophic scarring (or keloids) you can use tea tree oil on the bumps as well as warm chamomile tea bag presses.  Be gentle with it and touch it as little as possible.  And make sure you wash your hands if you do have to touch it for any reason.
