I have a matching tattoo with one of my close friends...but the thing is that we both got it before we ever knew each other. We both have Picasso's Dove of Peace on our upper middle backs only I have "Imagine" under mine and mine is a bit bigger. But yeah, we were pretty shocked when we started to become really good friends (we're both earthy redheads so we call ourselves twins) and realized that we had the same tattoo in the same spot.

Me and one of my best friends plan on getting the same lyrics tattooed on ourselves but each in different styles..

I have a tattoo done my side that says One Life One Dream and my best friend in the marines was talking about getting it the whole time in iraq and when he died I decided I would go get it in honor of him because we were both going to get tattoos at the same time

nope I was going to get a matching tattoo with my ex Thankfully I didn't It was going to be the chinese symbol for soul mate and he was going to have soul on his foot and i was going to have mate on mine and when we put our feet together it would read soul mate

I wouldn't say identical matching, but my fiancee and i are getting a "set" tattoo'd in the same spot. On my calf i'm getting The Baroness from G.I. Joe and on his calf he's getting Destro. Probably doesn't make any sense to anyone one here unless they're GI Joe fans though. lol
