You're only fourteen, and at a young age it is normal to be irregular. Don't worry, it's normal. As long as you are a virgin, there's nothing to worry about. Let a month or so pass and if you still haven't had it, talk to your doctor.

When you are young, it is very normal for your period to be irregular. Stress can make your period late or miss a month, as can being around new menstruating girls/women for long periods of time (look up Dorm-room syndrome...it really happens!).

If you miss for more than a couple of months in a row and you are worried you should tell your mom and have her take you to the doctor. It could be something more serious, but my guess is that you are just fine.

Just relax - you're only 14 and your period is probably still a little goofy. It will take a while for it to regulate... wait another week or two, and if you still don't get it, talk to your doctor.
