So i just now got level 3...1,000 points...how many points does it take to get Top Contributor?

I am always answering questions and I'm always on here...so what gives? Do i need to answer more questions in more categories other than horoscopes or is it just points value?

To get top contributor you need to get a minimum of 200 points a week, and have a minimum of 10% BA.

Wahoo! I bet you felt like doing a little dance didn't you?! LOL! I did the same thing when I hit level 4! LOL!

I think you have to at least be at level 3 or 4 - can't remember - sorry

You have to focus on one or more category....answer lots of questions and recieve (I think it's like 30 per week or every two weeks or something like that) at least 10% Best answer for that category....

Something like that...I can't remember the exact numbers...sorry I couldn't be more helpful...

Level 3 is 1000

Level 4 is 2500

Level 5 is 5000

Level 6 is 10,000

Level 7 is 25,000

you get 1 point for voting, 2 pts for each answer

If you want to get up faster, you need to answer in one more category. For me, I am a computer analyst and programmer and answer a lot of questions and help people to solve their computer issues.

I was wondering that too,but it's about the highest percentage of best answers.

If you have a bunch of answers and let's say,37% of it is best answer you can be a top contributor,1000 points is not enough at all.

To get to Top contributor it doesn't go on points.

Some people have less points then some Top contributors, you just have to answer questions and hope for the TC badge. It's a secret, the way they give out the orange badge. A Yahoo Secret.
