  1. trust me pay pal is the best I wouldn't do checks.

To many people get ripped off because of that.

  2. There are checkboxes under "payment options" that you can check for all the payments you'll accept. So you can do checks or MO. Sometimes I'm selling something small it wouldn't even be worth having a check mailed so I uncheck the "checks" and "MO" boxes and have paypal only but you do have that option.

  3. well most comon 1 is PAY PAL but you can also use checks and money orders, but i would recomend you to get a PAYPAL it's the best and easiest way to use on internet purchasing or selling

  4. Some members reported on the forums that they were being told they can ONLY accept PayPal.  That's wrong.  eBay did run a trial in Australia but I think the government killed it.

You should be able to select other payment options, but you might be on the simplified selling form.  If so, head all the way to the bottom of the form, and you'll see a link to switch to the full Sell Your Item form.

If you're not on that simplified form, you should see a bunch of sections with yellow headers.  In each header there's an "add or remove options" link.  Click that one in the Payment section to add other payment options.

  5. it wont let you do anything but paypal until you are an established seller, you really dont want to do that anyways its opening you up for liability.... bounced checks... fraud...ick! paypal is great really! minus the fees of course, but just charge more for shipping/handling to cover it, everyone does!
