  1. As long as you know that you will still be his friend if you JUST break up, then just ask him out. If you don't JUST break up (say he cheats or something) then he wasn't even your friend to begin with. There is no reason why real friends can't date. A real friend would never do anything that would ruin the friendship, so why would they do anything that could ruin the friendship AND relationship. So as long as he is a true friend, you should have no problems if you break up, and should therefore remain friends. Again, if you break up and he can't stay friends with you just because of that, then he was never a true friend to begin with. Besides, the best relationships start as friends. If you are friends first, and you later fall in love, then you know you aren't just falling in love with the sexual parts of the relationship, because you could get along just fine with them WITHOUT the sexual things before.

  2. this happens to everybody way too many times! you can either go for it or just back off. my best friend had this happen to her, and she just gave up. that's one option. or you could just see where it goes. maybe hang out a few more times and see if anything happens. also, a lot of guys sometimes fear commitment. so he could just be grappling with that too?

  3. Tell him you like him and it wont ruin your friendship! If he says he doesn't like you back hes one guy! I have been rejected by a bunch of girls before!

  4. I say that it is best to go for it. if it is a mutual want, then the worst thing you can do is try. If it works out, it does. If it doesn't and your friendship suffers then maybe your friendship wasn't meant to be. Also if your friendship is strong, then if you both get together and it falls apart then you are not really friends. I have fooled around and dated/almost dated alot of my female friends and I am still friends with them even after with slept together.

  5. well i think you could maybe try friends with benefits? that way you are not getting to serious not to be considered friends. And that way if you don't like where it goes it's not a lot to stop.

  6. Well, there is no other option for this, but to respect his decision. When time come and he really interested in you, then, he will surely posses a relationship with you as more than a friend...
