ok, so i need a car because my school is far and my parents work early in the morning and iam also getting a job soon .... and i want to see my boyfriend sometime he doesn't drive and lives in Bakersfield... but idk i want to drive so badly!!! whats the whole process i need to go through to get a permit??????

15- are you old enough to get a permit? Call DMV, ask a police officer, ask a Driver's Ed teacher. I imagine the procedures differ state to state. If at 15 you're too young you'll just have to wait.

You'll need more than a permit. You'll need a license.

You have to go through driver's ed first, which is about $250.

With a permit you can't drive by yourself anyway.
