So i want to get in to amiture radio... what do i need to get started?

i know i need an antenna and a license... but thats about all i know

anyone know where i can get an antenna actually and the equipment i will need?

  1. a dictionary for proper spelling...first!


  2. First check-in with the ARRL (Amateur Radio Relay League) which has the magazine QST. This will give you a lot of information on antennas and equipment with suppliers as such. A good start is AES (Amateur Electronic Supply).
