i thought i had a yeast infection, so i treated it OTC. when that didn't work i went to my doctor and she said it was defiantly a yeast infection and rx me a one dose of diflucan. that was monday and now it's saturday and things are worse! i think it might be spreading to my a**s too!

the other thing i'm worried about it that i slept with a guy about 3 weeks ago and the condom broke...now i'm all freaked out that i have an STD. i told my doctor this.

is it possible that diflucan not work for me? is a yeast infection or yeast infection-like symtoms a symtom of an STD?

  1. Normally difflucan is all that is needed. Its rare for that to happen. Get yourself cheked out just incase!

    Good luck

  2. Hi,

There are so many causes of yeast infections which is why so many people get them unfortunately! But there are ways of getting rid of it. When I first got it I went straight to the doctors and he suggested creams etc which got rid of it at first but it kept coming back no matter how many different products I tried.

In the end I did some research on the internet and found a website with a completely natural way to get rid of it for good and, touch wood, I haven't had it again since! I hope this works for you too!  If you want to give it a try you can find it at http://www.QuickYeastInfectionCure.com

Don't worry - I found a great cure and you will too!

  3. I don't know why your doctor did not check but you have to do a vaginal swab to determine the infective organism and you have to do it very quick to start treatment and sop the spreading of infection.

  4. Did your doctor do any tests to confirm if it was an yeast infection?? If so then maybe you need something stronger Rx. But if you have not had a pap exam and STI/ STD check in the last few weeks maybe you should get that done too. STI's like Trich or Chlamydia can have similar symptoms.
