  1. If the bachelor's degree requires 120 semester hours (common number) and you attend year-round as:

    fall - 18

    spring - 18

    summer - 6

Then you'd complete 42 semester hours per year.  It would take (120/42) 2.85 (round to 3) years to complete that degree.

Some schools offer compressed semesters as Fall I/II, Spring I/II, Summer which allow as many as 9 semester hours per compressed semester.  In this case you'd complete 45 hours per year and the degree would take  2.66 (still round to 3) years to complete.

Schools that propose a 2 year completion of the bachelor's degree most often require that you enter with an associates degree or 2-years of completed coursework.

  2. probably around three years at a normal four year institution (assuming by "year round" you mean summers too). but there are other specialty schools (i've seen commercials) that claim their students graduate in 2 to 3 years. and i suppose it depends on how hard you work as well, to fulfill all credit requirements.

  3. roughly 3  years.

  4. Three years.

  5. It depends on the degree and the credit load each semester.  16 credits is usually considered a full load and sometimes people are able to take more depending the the workload of the classes.  Summer classes are crunch classes and can be very tough to take more than two at a time. It still takes 120 crdits for a BA or BS.

  6. I did it in 3 years and 3 months.

    BS in engineering
