  1. I think you should be fine. Pre-Calc is the norm for most seniors at my school.

    If you want, you could take a summer Calc I course at a near-by college, just to be a step ahead. You can e-mail or call the admissions office at the college you're interested in, and ask what level of math they recommend for incoming freshman.

    But generally, I think Calc I is about where people hit college, so it shouldn't be a problem. Plus, math placement tests will help guarantee you are where you should be.


  2. I would imagine so, as some schools don't even offer pre-calc at a high school level.

  3. You will be fine. Biology is a lot of vocabulary and memorization (compared to Chemistry and Physics).  You will probably have to take more math classes like College Algebra, College Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, etc. that will prepare you for the math you will have to do in your Chemistry and Physics classes.  Good Luck!!

  4. Yes. Many people don't take calculus until their freshman year of university.
