So if you are colorblind (see black and white) do you dream black and white?

So my uncle is colorblind and i know dogs are too, and i was just wondering to colorblind people dream black and white as they don't know what color is??

colour blindness comes in different forms. people may have trouble with shades or tones of particular colours or be totally colour blind.

my brother is colour blind where certain greens are involved and i think certain reds - makes christmas interesting.

luckily though he remembersthe majority of his dreams and apparently he notices no difference

colorblindness comes in many strains, some people confuse 2 colors, confuse 3 colors, only see in black and white...

so i am guessing it is the same in there dreams too!

probably not i mean blind people have imaginations so colorblind people should too. and by imaginations i mean dreams and by probably not i mean not to dreaming black and white and by black and white i also mean gray in between and by gray i mean grey if you are British. gray is a color grey is a colour

by the way dogs are not color blind, they just don't see them as clearly as we do

I don't know, but my art teacher said that he had some dreams in black and white when he was a kid.

you would dream what you know, seeing as dreams are a reflection of the things we see in everyday life. so if one only saw green and red, then they would dream green, red, and any colour they could mix with the two.

Colour blind people don't necessarily see black and white.

Many can distinguish most colours, but confuse 2 or 3.  The most common is green, red, and brown all look like brown.

Second most common is not being able to distinguish between yellow and blue.

no they wont, u can only see black and white, but if u've seen colors before then u can still think of colors and dream of colors. but if u've seen black and white all ur life then u cant imagine the normal colors thus u cant dream of it either
