So im a senior in high school and im bout to order a laptop thinking im taking it to college?

but i was at an OU party las weekend and mi buddy tells me that the school makes them buy the school laptops and a lot of colleges do that. why do they do that? can i still take my computer? can i get internet acces and how much are the computers

Be prepared to shell out about a $1000 for a good laptop. And make sure you get insurance on it, ask the school about this.
