  1. I would like to recommend you some useful infomation here.http://cruise.online-assistant.info/alas...

  2. the suite is more expensive. i always go interior because you dont spend alot of time in your room.

  3. Cruise companies always charge per person and for double occupancy e.g. two people per cabin ( third and forth person in family room have slightly cheaper rates).

You didn't say how long the cruise lasted, where it's going and which cruise company you had selected, and whether or not you had airfare included, all factors which determine cost.

  4. The prices that you see quoted are per person (double occupancy)  I believe you get a discount on the 5th person if they are staying in one of these rooms.  A suite is very expensive.  You could just have two cabin because they have 2 twin beds in each cabin and a sofa in each one, so someone could sleep on the sofa.  You aren't going to be in the room that much anyway, so use your money for other fun stuff.  Good luck and have fun....:)

  5. Some companies quote pricing per person, per day; others quote pricing per person based on double occupancy and others quote on the basis of the cost of the cabin.

The price depends on the ship, the itinerary, the length of the cruise, and the type of cabin and its location.  Some interior cabins are close to the price of outside cabins / balconies -- it all depends.

Be really careful, since most of the cruise lines implemented fuel surcharges this month, that the cost you've been quoted is the total cost of your cruise.

Unless you're planning to cruise within in the next 2 months, you should only have to pay a deposit to hold the cabins.

  6. this site has useful cruise information

  7. ok! zip me an email with your confo and i'll break it down for you.

  8. I do not understand what your question is at this point.  But,  ALL cabins on all cruise ships are sold DOUBLE OCCUPANCY.  So the rates that you see on cruise lines web sites are per person with a minimum of two people per cabin.  Some cabins are designed for 3 or 4 people with sofa beds and/or pull down beds.  Some ships have what they call family bedrooms that are slightly larger and accommodate more than 2 people much easier.

I have been on many cruises and the price that you have quoted for an inside cabin is extremely high.  It suggests that you are attempting to book a cruise that leaves very soon, like in a couple months, or for New Years or another holiday period.  Inside cabin are th cheapest on ships are are usually well under $1,000. per person for a 7 day cruise..

You will get a much better price, especially for an inside cabin if you book  a much later date, like next fall or winter.  OR,  go to the cruise line web sites and look for their specials.  All cruise lines list their specials right on their web sites.  You can sometimes get a balcony cabin or suite for the price you have quoted, or even a lower price.  Just shop around and go cruise when the price is best.
