So im scared of lightening. What are the chances of it hitting my laptop right now?

Its thundering and lightening out. My laptop is plugged into the wall. Could it get hit and zap me?

  1. there is a very little chance of that.


  2. Probably not zap YOU, but you may want to invest in a surge protector for your computer.

The only time if the Lightning can zap you is if it hits an Electric Wire that's connected to the Pole out side that connects to every wire in the house and it will probably lead it to your laptop and maybe cause damage to your laptop and it will probably not zap you. But sometimes you don't have to worry about that because I use my Mom's Desktop all the time and it never gets shocked when it Thunder and Lightning when we have a Severe Thunder Storm or a Regular Thunder Storm.

    If you want to stay on the safe side, Keep your laptop unplugged when during a thunderstorm or a severe thunderstorm for your protection because you should do that if you want to stay on the safe side and not get zapped.

    Chances of getting killed on your laptop in a room?  Must be in the billions.
