  1. OK LISTEN UP, YOU NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL IN ORDER TO GET ALL THE SUCCESS YOU CAN GET WHEN YOUR OLDER!!!!!!! To me, I think your mom wants the best for you and for your studies. If you don't go now, *thumbs up* Good luck with that.

  2. Tell her you feel like you don't get enough one on one time with the teachers at school and you would learn more if you were home schooled.

  3. excuses??? why do you really want to be home schooled?? does your mother have 6 hrs a day to sacrafice to you, does she have a master's degree like your teachers.

the social c**p at school is just that, c**p. it will end and you will walk away from school with an education and an idea of what kind of person you are

    home school doesnt do that!

  4. I think I can study more easier at home then in school. There is too much kids in class. Tell her this sorry if it does not work.

  5. what's your reason for wanting to? is it just because you want to sleep in or watch tv while you do homework? because that's not going to benifit you in any way.

I was homeschooled pretty much my whole life and I didn't like it just because my mom was really impatient and it's hard when you don't understand stuff and don't get along with the teacher because then fights break out.. but if you were in a classroom with friends their more likely to not lash out on you just because you don't understand something. It really just depend on different kinds of people because I knew a lot of kids that loved being homeschooled and got a lot out of it.

anyways, here are some reasons to home school.

If you're religious that's a way to monitor things you learn or don't learn.

    one-on-one attention.

you have the flexibility of deciding how long you want to spend on each subject instead of having the same time for each and in one class sitting doing nothing for the last 30 min of class or in another rushing to get done before the bell rings.

If other people are distracting or bringing you down from learning what you would like to learn.

If you have a problem with certain teachers being careless and not assigning anything ever to help you learn. (I had this marketing class where the guy would talk about fishing and tell jokes, he did not teach marketing)

If you are having troubles with other schoolmates, not fitting in..

  6. you will regret it... but...

the reason my friends are homeschooled is because theyre older brothers got in so much trouble in highschool.

tell her about the drugs, partys, drinking, bad girls, and peer pressure. you are less likely to get sick as much if you are homeschooled, too. make sure she knows your serious about it.

tell her how one on one teaching has to be better then one teacher for every 26 students.

tell her she wont have to pay for school lunch.

tell her she wont miss out on you growing up.

  7. tell her you could get a much better education if you had the one on one help and teaching. make her think that you are very serious about getting into a good college

  8. for sureee

    1. in regular school there are lunch and recess breaks and you would rather be in class during that time than be outside talking to people and stuff.

2.at school the teacher has to teach a bunch of kids and cant have their full attention on you

3 tell her you feel you'll learn more than you would in high school b.c you wont waste time.

    4. you dont want to waste time, when you can get closer to college and stuff.

  9. too much bad stuff and your afraid it will influence you

  10. If I didn't know better, I'd think  you were MY daughter. She was the same way last year. I was highly against it and would not let her. You really need to be in school. While there are many things you can learn by yourself, there is much more that you can not. Go back to high school. Find at least 1 thing to get involved in and meet some new friends. You only have a couple of more years before you have to enter the work force. Enjoy it while you can.

  11. If your grades are high and you are ready, some high schools have programs so that you can enter college early, earning both high school and college credit for no charge. Dual enrollment program, or a collegiate high school. Ask a school counselor what other options are available besides public high school and get information to look over and share with your mother so the two of you can make an informed decision.

  12. alot of states have a virtual academy

basically you go on the comp and so school on the internet for 3 hours a day and you mom and you get together for an hour or so a day and you do an hour by yourself

try to see if your state has one and tell her about it.. they are usually free and they send you all the suplies (they are run by the state gevernment)

like here is oregon its is

    k12orva

    kindergarten-12th grade oregon virtual acadamy

  13. You know your mom gave you an honest answer when you asked her to be home schooled. "Cause I just want to" really isn't a good enough reason for your mom to go to the trouble & expense to have a tutor brought in for you, & it isn't an honest answer from you either is it?

Here you are giving total strangers at least a hint of why you want to be home schooled when the person you really need to be forthcomming with, is your mom.

When you said you really don't want to go back to highschool, you let us know that you are experiencing some anxiety over what you expect is in store for you when you return to school this year.

I don't know what it is, but I am reasonably certain that if you were totally honest with your mom about why you don't want to go back to highschool, it would go a long way to relieving the stress & anxiety you are feeling right now, & your mom can help you deal with whatever it is that is actually bothering you.

Go talk with her, be honest & she'll listen.

  14. tell her the truth... like the reasons why you dont wanna go back to high school.... did something bad happen to you? if it did tell her about it....
