  1. Palin isn't big oil.  She levied the largest oil profit tax in the nation much to the dismay of the oil companies.  She was also the AK energy chaiman and is well despised by the oil companies.

  2. Regrettably not.

    However, the GOP usually tries to make it seem like there are changes. McCain agrees with Bush on perhaps 95% of all issues. The only exceptions being torture, global warming, and perhaps corruption (although McCain has fought special interests before and taken steps to limit corruption, he has not been the great opponent that the media portrays him as).

    It is true that McCain is one of the less corrupt members of the Republican Party, but he still does not hesitate to alter his tone to win over social conservatives, the religious right, and now, big business.

    For the foreseeable future, big oil and coal have a lot of influence in Washington, no matter who wins.

    As Jon states:

    GOP = SOS

    It goes to illustrate how broken and corrupt the system is.

  3. Yes, for the worst. They've driven the more moderate people from the Party. And McCain is no moderate, he has  just became a Bush clone.

  4. sorry this just isnt going to stick.  I hope you guys can come up with better.  Keep trying!

  5. GOP = SOS

  6. If there is any change at all, it's gradually being taken over by the extreme right. If they go any further right, the swastika will become the party symbol.
