So...it's time to start thinking about transferring to a four year University...?

I'll be 28 in Feb of next year, I don't know how I feel about an apartment on-campus b/c I don't drive (visual degenerative disease.) I'd like to live on-campus for the time that I'm there (hopefully only two years, maybe three), in order to get the full experience (Hey, I want to party too, 'cause you're never too old to party! :P) Honestly, I'd just feel safer with more people around.

My dilemma is that I'll be twenty freakin' eight. Am I too old to be trying to "get the experience?" Should I pack up all my "Cool" stuff and start wearing my "Spinster" sweaters, if you know what I mean?

Or would I remind you of Will Farell in "Old School?" Trying to go streaking and no one does that anymore...::dies::

  1. Because of your age, you might find your dormies immature and annoying after a while.  Why not choose a happy medium- nearby campus apartments with a roommate?  That way you have exposure to fellow students, but they're not all over the place and you don't have to worry about the community bathroom stuff and all night partying.  There are definite advantages to attending college at this point in your life. One is that you won't take your education for granted and likely be more serious than your counterparts even if you do want to have fun.  Good luck!

  2. I would stay in a dorm of upper classmen if possible, or with grad students, who i feel would be more accepting

go for it!! it's great that you are going back to school good for you! :)
